Dear All,

We have GE 9E Unit with Mark-VI-E Control system and dual fuels (gas and HSD). Our unit fuel changes at approximately 65MW load. Unit was running at base load at ~130MW on gas fuel when we reduced the load and fuel changed to HSD at 65MW as per OFFTAKER requirement. Unit given stop command and after desynchronisation from grid, Unit tripped within approximately 29 seconds on loss of flame. Indications noted are "VC3-1 not following reference L3LFBA_ALM & FD1-1 Feedback trouble - Trip L3LFBFB_ALM". During checking liquid fuel variations and liquid fuel bypass control valve current oscillations were noted which caused flames to destabilize and ultimately led to tripping of unit. However FSR value remained stable during this period. It is important to note that before desynchronisation of unit, there was no oscillation of liquid fuel.

Kindly share your experience and guide what could be the reason for this problem.

Thanks
