4-20 mA Output Card Signal and Return

I'm putting an installation detail together for a GE ultrasonic GF868 gas flowmeter and I have a simple question. There is an analog output board (4 loops) where I need to connect to a weight, pressure, temperature and flow transmitter. The terminals are marked signal and return. Where do I connect my black (+24vdc) and white instrument wires at the board and at the transmitter? Also, if there is a good website for this kind of information, would be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

You would not connect transmitters to an output board, they connect to an input.

I assume your board is an input, with the power off measure the resistance between the pair of terminals then between each pair, you will likely find some of the terminals are common e.g. the negatives, With the power on see if there is any Voltage on the terminals. If not you likely have to supply that unless the transmitters are 4 wire type (have an internal power supply and source the loop Voltage)
Post back to us what you find.

I could look up a manual for the device you mention but so can you.
