Hi,
We have in site GE turbine MS5002 coupled to a centrifugal compressor 2BCL. and when we tried to start up it the control engineer asked us to manually slightly close the anti-surge valve and raise manually the compressor load to avoid over surging the turbine during the start up!
My question is: Could someone explain to me the functional description of this?
And if this is the right method, Why GE did not implement it in their software?
