Am executing a small modification on a facility and have four signals which are spread across DO, DI, AI, AO. The 24Vdc DO will round through a separate cable. My question is, can I use one multicore cable to run the remaining DO, AO, AI signals?

 

Are the pairs individually shielded for the AI and AO signals?

That are the wattage of the DO loads? If they are more than low wattage IS solenoids; I would worry about voltage drop and possibly burning up the cable.

That is the conductor gauge of the cable?

You will have to fuse the DO pairs to match the gauge to protect the cable.

 

One more point; many wiring specifications require that control wiring wither 12VDC. 120VAC or 125VDC is 14 AWG. This ensures that voltage drop is not a problem.
