One of my friends asked me a question about a problem in one of their GTCs. (F5)

After 80%RPM the acceleration is too low, as he said sometimes even turbine trips. IGV angle increase to full open near 89%RPM and exhaust temperature is too high (390"C). Normal condition in FSNL is 56" and 340"C.

IGV SRV GCV NGV check and calibration has been done and servo has been replaced and LP speed is normal.

I know these data is not enough. I haven't gone to the site yet (maybe go) but I have really interested to know what are the possible causes.

There are very few new problems posted to control.com--but there are lots of similar problems with some very different and unusual descriptions.

Have you been following this one? Pretty darn similar, don't you think? To our knowledge (since the thread was basically taken off-line) glenmorangie was waiting for some information.
