Hello Guys,

I need your support in deciding if Stahl 9160/13-11-11 and Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-STC4-Ex2 are interchangeable as I have a failed stahl module and I only have this Pepperl+fuchs in stock.
This stahl module is used for antisurge transmitter power supply.

OmoG,

You really haven't provided enough information to be of help. What are the area/zone classification requirements for the location of the power supply and transmitter it would power?

Is the transmitter a SMART transmitter and does it require a unique power supply?

Does the power supply have to be isolated from it's power source to provide power to the transmitter (again-is this an area/zone classification requirement)?

It would seem you just need a 24 VDC power supply (without any other information) and that the suggested replacement is capable on that score. It's the things you haven't told us that are really the more important criteria for choosing a replacement power supply. If you're in a bind and can get a new original equipment replacement shortly, if the area/zone classification requirements are met by the suggested replacement then I would say it's okay to substitute the suggested power supply temporarily--but that's just a SWAG (Scientific Wild-Arsed Guess) based on the information provided.
