hi everybody,
we have already established communication between DCS AS Master (Yokogawa) two cards (ALE 111) for redundancy and mark vie two HMI as slave Modbus/tcpip through Ethernet cables. we have one hmi 1 (modbus configuration server) connected with DCS CARD ALE 111, and the other hmi 2 connected with dcs other card ale 111. this configuration for redundancy that means both hmi 1 & 2 send same signals and dcs request same data from both hmi 1 & 2 with separate two cards.
the problem is when we disconnect hmi 1 (configuration server), both communication to dcs down. but if we disconnect hmi 2, only the corresponding card in dcs data down. so there is no redundancy.
i want to know what to do for this configuration to get redundancy?
