Inlet Air Filters Suction Puffing
How does a inlet air filter in gas turbines suck air from ambient air?

can somebody please explain me how does inlet air filters of gas turbines sucks air from ambient?

Is there any pressure difference which causes suction of ambient air?

please explain the process of puffing of filters thoroughly.

Try this (found using Braden "Self-cleaning Filter"):

It's just a reaction to the release of pressurized air in a venturi when there is a flow of air through the venturi inducing a reverse flow that knocks the dirt off the outside of the filter.

Usually into the suction of nearby filters.
