Using RSlinx or Kepware to Communicate
Using RSlinx or Kepware to communicate with compactlogix studio5000 to wonderware SCADA

Hi,

I am in my 4th year doing my fYP in automation. i want to know why would i benefit from using RSlinx instead of Kepware to communicate with compactlogix studio5000 to wonderware SCADA?

First off, you don't communicate with rslogix 5000 to wonderware. Wonderware communicates with compactlogix. As far as the difference between rslinx and kepware I would strongly suggest using whatever comes with wonderware which is probably a version of kepware. Why would you buy rslinx or kepware when drivers already come with wonderware?

You don't need either one. The Operations Integration Server, ABCIP from Wonderware can communicate with a compactlogix.
