Connecting a GPS Receiver to Modbus/TCP
Recommend GPS receiver which support Modbus/TCP

I would like to use GPS receivers to track the location of mobile equipment. This equipment uses a wireless network to connect to Modicon PLCs.

I would appreciate your recommendations and experience using a GPS receiver which supports Modbus/TCP communication.

How is your wireless network implemented to communicate with the PLC's?

The GT-540 has a GPS receiver and Modbus RTU over RS-485. It has software and API to create your own monitoring system or integrate withe SCADA.
