PTB Sensor Check
Can I calibrate PTB sensor with a water pump?

I'm going to test a pressure sensor measuring piston thrust balance on an LM2500, and I only have on site a water hand pump available. Is it a problem to test an air/gas pressure line going to a Rosemount transmitter with a liquid? I've tried many times the other way (liquid pressure sensor with air hand pump) with no issues, but I'm trying to be certain about this one.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Should be fine, water won't harm the transmitter. You might find it easier actually.

Thanks mate!
