Particle Measurment for Oil
Low cost sensor for oil condition monitor for hydraulic systems.

Hi All,

I am looking for the best option to measure particle in hydraulic (static or in flow), depends on prices. or if there is alternative way to monitor oil condition such as viscosity maybe? most of the sensor I did find is around 1500 which really expensive.

Thank you very much and I am looking forward to your reply.

Regards
Maj

Hi,

I saw a couple of application to viscosity measurement using the PROMASS I from Endress+Hauser in mining companies. Further, you can have mass flow, volume flow, density, concentration and so on. You can try to install the device in by-pass to buy a smaller sensor and spend less money.

Thanks
Fabricio Andrade
