Serial to MODBUS TCP Converter using Wiznet W5500
Need to convert Serial Data into MODBUS TCP

I need to convert a legacy device that gives out data into a MODBUS TCP RTU device. So I am looking for solution of implementing it with a microcontroller (Preferably Microchip PIC24/PIC32) + the Wiznet W5500 chip. I am not willing to to use the Microchip TCP/IP stack. As I want to offload it to the Wiznet W5500 so that the host controller can do the MODBUS stuff without the the network overhead. I need to map data for the holding registers only. I would be grateful for Any help and guidance regarding this.

Best Regards
