ArcNET Jumper Configuration
How to identify the jumper configuration of the ArcNET PCA198-CXB Card ?

Greetings to all,

We have GE Frame V Mark V Turbines. We need to make a spare unit of <I> PC. We did take a copy of the hard drive to another one running in Pentium CPU. The OS is IDOS. The problem is when we try the PC on the turbine, it stops when it calls the ArcNet definition file. We think it may be due to different CPU and the jumper configuration needs to be changed based on that.

How to find the correct jumper configuration based on PC specs?

How to determine the I/O Address Range, RAM Address Range and PROM Address Range?

Can someone send me the ArcNET PCA198-CXB Installation Guide?

Hi Mohamed,

Before to help you by sending you document, would you give us theses details .

You have GT GE Frame V equipped with a Mark V Simplex or TMR?

You did take a copy of the hard drive to another one running in Pentium CPU. By GHOST? Or just a copy of hard drive?

See you

Thanks a lot Amar for your help.

The Mark V is TMR and the copy was taken by Ghost.

I have also a document which might help. I am sending it to you. Also bear in mind to verify that the data of the Arcnet card must match the data of arcnet driver in the TCI tab.
