Can anyone on the list suggest any good approaches to serial communications to Arburg injection molding machines using commercially available software or toolkit? The Arburg host processor interface uses a MAP MMFS-Subset for application layer and Siemens 3964R for transport layer. I am interested in locating a NT platform driver or toolkit that could enable developing communications to read and write data from the molding machine controller to a host computer PC.
