Maher has always been in transition. He started his career as an Architect, then a researcher and educator, then an advanced technology consulting in AEC, then back to becoming a researcher in HCI and software design. Maher has received master's degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and MIT. He now works in automation and software development in the automotive industry, currently at Tesla.
