Third Party Software for Servo Tuning
Yes, it is DORNA's AC servo drive EPS-B1-01D5AA-A000 and motor 130DNMA2-01D5CKAM (1.5kW 2000rpm 7.16Nm).

Well, the description of LabView does not reflect that: LabVIEW ELVIS III Toolkit The LabVIEW NI ELVIS III Toolkit enables you to create and deploy applications on the NI ELVIS III. The LabVIEW NI ELVIS III Toolkit is a software add-on that provides an API for programming the NI ELVIS III...

Third Party Software for Servo Tuning
I appreciate and thank you for your input. Both the softwares you shared are for a specific make of servo drive/motor. And I don't think that they are compatible with my servo drives. Correct me please, if I am wrong.

Third Party Software for Servo Tuning
The manufacturer is DORNA TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Jiashan City, Zhejiang Province, China www.en.dorna.com.cn Their regular compatible software DORWIN only allows to set all the parameters what we can do directly on the drive. There is no specific option for PID tuning of the loop.

Third Party Software for Servo Tuning
Hi I am using a Chinese Servo Motor. Its companion software does not provide any option to perform Servo Loop Tuning. I would like to ask if any third party software exists which can help in tuning Servo Loop for any make/model of Servo Motor/Drive?

AC servo motor not stationary in idle state
OK, but can you guide me to aspects on which I should work on.... like Load Inertia etc.?

AC servo motor not stationary in idle state
I have observed that the motor is working fine without load. Does it means that the problem is with roller set? If so, then why does the motor run without problem, occasionally? Or the problem is due to load inertia or some other technical parameter? Due to lack of experience, I am not sure.

In the meantime, can the problem be overcome using following function? The motor can be clamped to ZERO SPEED right after the Pulses and then released just before the next Pulses. Did I got this concept right?

OK, I will try to work on this point and get back. But, does a brand new servo is likely to have fault with the encoder though I had run the Jog mode before installation? I had that problem from the very first day of installation.

The feedback environment/parameters are supposed to be the same all the time, aren't they? So, how come the motor occasionally runs without any problem?

From the procedure mentioned on page 66, I could only get the information that it is "Line-saving Incremental Encoder". However, I removed the encoder cover and found the maker WINMO.

Yes, it is product manufacturing. You may watch a clip for the same when running in perfect order. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ttseur3ou5aj98w/Press.mp4?dl=0 I have searched the user manual. It is a general manual which is usable for all DORNA EPS-B1 series of drives and compatible servos. There...

Yes, it is the same case. The issue was resolved temporarily. But after a few weeks, the problem reappeared. Since then I have been tweaking with roller to keep myself going. But sometime, it would not do any good only increase frustration. Even, I replaced the roller set. Presently, I am having...
