Some may confuse "SOB" with Supervisor. Not mine of course. My supervisor's a swell guy! (He reads this site too).

Going to Premix Mode from Lean Mode
ahmad baktash, We simply went to the Control Constants Display on the HMI and made the changes for each MARK V. What do you mean when you state " We set the reference temperature (TTRF1) =1087 C for premix operation." Are you setting a Control Constant? What we were seeing on our units was...

Flame Tracker Module Calibration FSM-1002-001 on GE Mark V
RJSolo, I have a procedure for adjusting the pots that the commissioning GE tech left. I also have a drawing, but due to company policy, I cannot upload it here. Here's the procedure: The offset adjustment potentiometers are R14 and R29. There are TWO EACH of these potentiometers. The R14...

Going to Premix Mode from Lean Mode
amahd baktash, We have six simple cycle 7EA's gas only units and we had this same problem on a few of our units in cold ambient temperatures. The problem was corrected by lowering the constant FXKTL2 by 10 degF - 15 degF. We change these every late Spring and late Autumn. We found if we leave...

Bailey Infi90 ROM checksum error on Network Interface
HKAMihail452, Have you checked that your redundant pairs have the same revision? I've had issues in the past with pairs being different revisions and causing issues weeks later. Also, have you checked all of your jumpers and dipswitch settings? Lastly, have you tried to initialize and format...

Config 1-5V DC Transmitter to work as 0-5V Dc on GE MARK V
cheedee, What type of unit(s) do you have at your site? CSA, We have six 7EA DLN1 of 2001 vintage with MARK V's at our particular site. I noticed the value cheedee has for the "compressor stall detection disable" is set at 12.5, while our units have a value of 512. With a value of 512...

Eliminate "coast-down to firing speed"?
Hi CSA, Couldn't you open the IGV's at startup to increase airflow and reduce the purge speed? This would reduce ramp up and ramp down time, and maybe even the purge time itself. Someone would have to do the calculation to see how low you could go and still move the same amount of air.
