How 5, 15, 24 VDC are generated in mark v system. where and all these power supplies r used for. what effects these voltages to go low. please mention in details.

thanks in advance.

Appendix D of the Mk V Application Manual (GEH-6195) has a lot of very good information, including for the Power Supplies (at least which card the power supplies are generated on--the TCPS card, the card in Location 5 of <C>, <R>, <S>, & <T>).

There will be Diagnostic Alarms if these voltages exceed (unknown) predetermined limits (high or low). Excessively low voltages can lead to all manner of unusual problems.

Most microprocessors operate on approximately 5 VDC, and also some need +/-15 VDC. 24 VDC (which is really a nominal 24 VDC, can be as much as 28 VDC or as little as 22 VDC in the Mk V....) is used for power supplies for transmitters and the like.

That's about all the detail there is; there's not much written or known about them--except they gotta be there and they gotta be within limits for normal operation.
