Error Message with OPC Between VBA & Rockwell Server
If this is the cause, then there are 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Excel. So it is possible to uninstall the 64-bit bit Excel and install 32-bit Excel. But first, check in Task Manager what bitness the Excel process is. I am not aware of 64-bit wrapper DLL.

Error Message with OPC Between VBA & Rockwell Server
Isn't Excel running in 64-bit process? If so, it wouldn't be able to access the wrapper DLL which is 32-bit.

Creating Groups/Paths in OPC (OpenOPC)
The OPC Data Access specification does not deal with creating (or modifying, or removing) the items in OPC address space. If the OPC server allows this to be controlled programmatically, it would be through some channel separate from OPC DA, *or* (a kind of trick). it can theoretically be...

OPC server communicate with OPC server
In order to facilitate such communication you typically use an OPC client that connects to both servers, and transfers the data between them. This can either be a COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) product dedicated to this purpose, or you can build one using an OPC client toolkit (disclaimer: I...

How do OPC works?
The new OPC-UA specs come with profiles (incl. a "micro" and "nano" profiles) that can fit the embedded devices. E.g. Flash of 240kB, and RAM of 35kB for the OPC server in a microcontroller. Zbynek Zahradnik, OPC Labs, www.opclabs.com
