No one here knows what number that is because that number (current draw) is determined by the electronic instrument. It might be on a tag or in a spec sheet or manual.
You could measure the current draw of the electronic instrument with an amp meter (pull out a battery and use clip leads to make connections to the battery holder, amp meter and battery).
Or you could buy a wall wart power supply and try it. Good likelihood a 1A wall wart will work. Be sure to check the polarity before connecting power supply.
A Google search for wall wart 3V brings up dozens of hits.
