20V4 Serial Communication

Hi,

We have hit a dead end in sourcing information about the above serial interface.

There is a client whose has a combustion analyzer with 20V4 serial link bought in mid 80's. The equipment is working great with no problems.

The client wants to hook up this equipment onto a PLC/DCS via Modbus protocol.

Can anybody help us in sourcing information and also the relevant protocol converters for 20V4 Serial link to Modbus.

Is the 20v4 same as TTL serial interface?

Do you have a manufacture's name for the combustion analyzer? This would help in locating the required protocol documents to do the conversion to Modbus.
