In this particular application the vibration screen is used for separation of Iron ore in two stages.

Since the Iron ore coming on the vibration screen is in continuation. So requirement is to measure the depth (level) of Iron ore (Solid depth).

We are looking for sensor solution (can be 3D images) which will compatible for mining environment such as dust, wet, water, Temperature, sensitivity, reliability, etc. interfacing point of view.

 

such measurements do not exist for prices that you can afford

you can get the surface height with contact or non-contact methods, the more points measured the greater the cost

take a look at optical or radar methods
