A Question on Frame 9 GE GT with Mark IV control system !

GT rated load 100 MW, Droop 4% and GT is at Preseleected load, for example 75 MW, then TNR should be 103%. But if MW is not 75MW with TNR 103% then if there any possibility to rise TNR automatically(more than 103%) until MW feedback 75 MW?

When the unit is on preselect mode it will increase the TNR by itself until the unit reaches the preselected load. The above is possible if the ambient conditions and the other parameters are all ok.

The value 104% is derived from the fact that the speed of the unit should not go beyond 104% when the load is thrown out of the unit. The above value will work out to 52hz at the upper end and 48hz at the lower end.
