AB SLC ethernet message block error

We are using AB SLC with Ethernet interface , and are using Aironet remote ethernet modem with Cisco systems Acess points, we are communicating at 1 MB only , but it often happens that in a day 10 -15 times we keeping loosing the connectivity and have to restart the modem to reestablish the connection , cannot figure out where the problem is any sugeestions please, presently we only switch on/off the modem
