I am needing to connect and troubleshoot software on a AB Slick 505. I have experience with Omron only.

Can someone line me out on what software and cables I will need?

You will need RSLogix 500 programming software and RSLinx software for connecting to the hardware.

The Slick 5/05 has a serial and ethernet port. You can use a RS-232 cable or if you know the existing IP address you can connect via the ethernet port. Their are drivers for both in RSLinx.
