I have had both the AB Powerflex 7000 MV (3.3kV) Drive and the ABB 24 pulse 3.3kV Equivalent offered to me in a fan application, which will require 3 x 1250kW drives. I have had AB Powerflex 690V drives in the past with no issues. This offer is for the MV 3.3kV drives due to the power required. I would automatically stick with the AB drives, however they are significantly more expensive than the ABB option.
Does anyone have any UNBIASED opinions between these two drive manufacturers??
