I would like to know following things regarding the driver details for any PLC/RTU/controller/PC add on cards.

Normally what is the minimum sampling time in any SCADA package (for example INTELLUTION, WONDERWARE, SCANET)

How SCADA package is able to accept the data from driver ?
If any company has developed certain communication driver for their controller, so if I want to use their protocols in my application, then does it take same time as their driver or I have to follow certain procedures ?
