Absolute encoder with serial protocol ?

Dear all,
I am developing an AC servo drive for 2 axis CNC machine and facing to the problem of system resolution.
I have AC Servo Motor(Mitsubishi) model HC-SF102B with absolute encoder.

- How can I connect (RS422 communicate ) for absolute encoder(Mitsubishi).
- Will you inform the information of your protocol ?

I suggest you to call Mitsubishi to figure out the abs. encoder output type. Normally, encoder output should not using serial protocol (too slow) maybe it's a SSI output.
