Omron PLC allows user to read and write from and to the PLC via PC, user need to program in VB through Host link command in order to talk to the PLC, the question now is it is hassle to develope the comm part by using VB6. Is there any Active X components from Omron or third party products that let me do the job easier?

Alternatively, i can use FinsServer from Omron but that cost a lot.....
