We are trying to connect ESA HMI to AEG Modicon compact series PLC. We are stuck at specifying Output coil address which are 301 to 315 to ESA HMI Alarm messages which only accepts in either 10,000 or 40,000 addresses only. Appreciate help in solving this issue. Would out put coil addresses would have already been assigned to 40,000 series? or how to move the output coil addresses to 40,000 series?

 

You can move the coils into a 40K word using the BLKM instruction. Unfortunately you will have to move some coils you are not using. You have to start on a word boundary so in your case you will have to start at coil 289 to address 4#### with a length of 2. This will give you two words of coils from 289 to 320.
