We are looking to use a non-AB motor with absolute feedback on a new machine (due to a unique motor design)

Can Allen Bradley Kinetix 6000 or 7000 drives accept Heidenhien Endat 2.1 as absolute feedback? If so, is the feedback connected to the drive or the PLC rack?
