Does anyone have any concerns, comments, critques about the Allen Bradley PID instruction block specifically in the SLC and microLogix products.

I like them; cheaper than stand-alone instruments and part of the centralized and monitored control process. I have not specific or used a stand-alone PID controller for many years now. And when a loop is very tough to tune you can put other code in to make it work perfectly.
