The following was a snippet in Control Engineering Online newsletter(emphasis added):

---------------------------------------------------------
Another dot com
---------------------------------------------------------
Control Technology Corp. (Hopkinton, Mass., http://www.control.com) is now Control.com Inc. **with a Linux PLC**. Ken Crater, president, and Dan Pierson, chief technology officer, emphasize the open source community approach to operating systems as the benefit of this new approach. I'll have more to say in a feature article later this summer on operating systems including a conversation with Dr. Inder Singh, ceo of Lynx (http://www.lynx.com), about
its Linux operating system.

Sounds like our project is ready to ship, doesn't it?

Yes, well, that wasn't the only thing that was a bit off in the news clip -- Control Technology Corp. is still alive and well, having spun off
Control.com Inc. as a separate company. <sigh>. As Mark Twain once said, "Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated".

Gary Mintchell promised a correction and a more detailed treatment on the website and in a later print story.

Regards,
Ken Crater
President, Control.com Inc., and, yes, still...
President, Control Technology Corp.
