Our LCN network is being slow when our app-node TPN server is connected to the LCN. A possible cause is that the tags are not cached in TPN. They are going through a look-up each time data is requested to identify the internal IDS. I would like to know what risks or effects will using the Cache import tool of TPN honeywell will have on the LCN. Will it slowdown the LCN ?

It will not slow down the LCN as a lot less communication will be required.

The only possible challenge I can come up with is to clean-up the cash when tags are deleted from the LCN. But that is a minor issue compared to what you have now. I even think that old deleted tags will eventually disappear from the cash as they are no longer being requested and new tags enter the cash.
