Thanks Curt for your advice, I would try to read the couple of e-mails, you have mentioned in order to have a better idea of this project. BTW, I have downloaded the 2000-*.txt.gz archives (* from January to april), but I could not decompress those archives, neither with winzip from Windows 98 nor with gunzip/tar from Linux. Could somebody there decompress those archives?
and How?, please.

That could be a question along the ones for the FAQ document :)

I would try to do a summary for this list, as a starting document for FAQ and so on ...

Best Regards

Hi Jose:

When you get the archive unzipped, you probably want to at least skim it, there was a lot of very good and valid input that got us to this stage. I learned a lot from it. So far, that's been most of the value of the project. Do you write C by any chance?.

Have you unzipped the archives in question?. How?
I think you are right, I would learn a lot in this lists and you guys are doing very interesting things here, I hope I could give my two cents too.

I can write in C, but to be honest, I have not written in C a long time ago, but I could remember very fast :). I have written code in other languajes as Fortran, Basic even M$ Visual, 8085 and Z80 Assembler, some in Pascal, etc, a couple of months ago I started to learn TCL/Tk and Visual TCL for Linux, but I stopped it. Now I would like to learn the languajes specified in IEC 1131-3, we can use those languages for our Project, I guess.

BTW I am wandered due to the fast response to my last e-mail :)

Regards

Robert, I did that but it didn't work, I have got the archives in plain text format from my Linux PC through the Netscape Browser as Louis has advised me, thanks for your help guys.

Now I am going to do quick review to those archives.

Thanks a lot you all again

Regards

Jose Manuel Fernandez
