Does anyone know of Intrinsically Safe AS-i/Profibus DP gateways?

Or perhaps, can someone confirm that AS-i can not be used in Intrinsically Safe environments by it's contruction?

There are several options for IS DP. You can use Pepperl-Fuchs, Remote I/O system RPI. Which has a Profibus DP gateway which communicates obviously DP on the safe side and then has IS outputs to standard IS devices on the hazardous side. Or if you go with Profibus PA Pepperl+Fuchs offers a DP/PA segment coupler.
