During installation of ABB operator station "AS160OS" version 3.1 (With Fix32 ver 6.1), the error message "Bad file name or number" appeared. After completion of installation, the OS Loader configuration is required. When try to open the "OS Configuration" the error message appears.

Please help to overcome this problem.

 

Sounds like you have faulty installation disks. You could be completely out of luck here unless somebody out there has a copy of the software. Basically there are no support options available for Win 3.1 and Fix any more.

ABB offers Compact HMI which replaces your software. It will connect to your AC160 controllers and runs on Windows 7 or server 2008. Surprisingly for an ABB product its quite reasonably priced.
