I have 125 Liebert PDUs that communicate via RS232/ASCII (Query-Response Format) and I'd like to connect them to our IP network using Modbus/TCP. I've looked around and found a few device servers (gateways) that may do the job, but I'd also like to power the device servers with POE. Anyone familiar with a device with these capabilities?

POE is power-over-ethernet. Permits me to provide the power for the device from the ethernet switch rather than installing a standalone power supply or tapping into something at the PDU.

The anybus device seems to work perfectly except for the POE.
Schneider electric has a device called the EGX100 but I'm still waiting on confirmation that it does the translation properly. I don't beleive it will so I'm continuing to look.

Thanks
Larry
