I am an application engineer and doing research on different industries. I want to know what are the issues that the cement indutry is currently facing in the area of automation solutions, so that our company can provide a better solution to fix those issues. What are the areas of weakness in the automation solutions provided by all the vendors in cement industry? If you cannot give an answer, kindly advise me which forum should I choose to get an answer to these sort of questions. Thanks.

Siemens is Offering Complete Solution For Cement Industries.They Called it CIMAT by Siemens. Yet I do not know the Current problems they may have been facing. But One thing Assure they have capacity to manage them.

How is the cement industry different from any other industry? Are you referring to hardware or software?
