I am trying to set up SMB archiving with a Microsoft computer on a network. Does anyone know more than what the book tells you? Any help would be appreciated. Also, does PCV 5.4 show a list of passwords you have configured? the older versions of PCV did, but I can't find it on the new 5.4 version. Thanks.

You could contact ABB Burlington, Canada Technical Support for help. To answer your questions:

- None of the PCV revisions was showing the QNX (encrypted) passwords. If you don't remember one, the system administrator can set a new one.

- Do not confuse account/password mapping for SMB (used to access MS shared resource) with QNX passwords.

- To read more on what is used by PCV in regards to SMB try to google for "QNX SMBfsys".
