I had one pe electrofusion welding machine with scanner also. Now the scanner is not working, so we bought new scanner(usb type).
Normally usb have 5 cables (shielding, supply, ground, data +, date-), but my old scanner have only three cables. Now how to configure the new scanner -

If u still have the old scanner cable try to figure out the purpose of existing 3 cables. Then in the new scanner, figure out which of the cables (2) to be condemn.
