Dear Sirs,

Talking about standards, I´d like to know from you if you´ve been implementing batch control systems according to the ISA S88.01 and what information would you highlight as helpuful hints and advantages to these models and terminology approach. Anyone from pharma industry?

Great Book from ISA - Called "Applying S88: Batch Control from a User's Perspective" ISBN:1-55617-703-8

Written by a couple of guys from Ben and Jerry's walking through an implementation........written lightly and with some humor..............isn't so bland you fall asleap.....

$49.00 for mrmbers, $59.00 for others should be at ISA.org

I have done 2 pharma project, where not implemented S88.01. This is more useful when we are implementing
multiproduct plant.

Yes, and NO.

You pay for the Batch engine, Purchased Licenses, and custom configuration time because it make it easier to:

Control
Collect Data and
Prompt Manual operations, enter QC data, and force opertors to Confirm or
Abort on process deviations with Supervisor's interaction.
