The accumulator is used to maintain lube oil pressure at the compressor bearing when L.O pump tripped. while the aux pump starting to run.
How can we know if bladder get damaged?

 

Bladder-type accumulators are usually charged with some type of gas (nitrogen, for example). If the bladder leaks, it won't hold a "charge" (pressure).

Have you tried putting a pressure gauge on the accumulator to see if the bladder has pressure in it? Have you tried charging the bladder?

Can you tell us what type of machine you are working on?
