I have a proworx package and I want to take a backup from Modicon 484 . If any one knows abt the cable details between 484 and PC and how can we convert 484 logic to put in Quantum PLC.

Email me ([email protected]) and I can send you cable details. To convert a 484 program (Modsoft or Proworx) to Concept is quite easy as long as you leave the program in 984LL language. Concept supports the five (5) IEC languages PLUS the legacy 984LL programming language. You can have logic in any section interact with any other section. If you want to convert the 984LL to an IEC language then you will have to do it manually.

 

<P>I don't remember modbus commnication port is db25 or db9. the programing cable connect in DTE---DTE.
