I'm looking for some CAN to Modbus gateways. Anyone know of any?

Are you looking for Modbus RTU or Modbus Plus? What CAN protocol, DeviceNet, SDS ??? If DeviceNet, try www.odva.org.

 

Anything that did a half decent job of CAN to MODBUS (different **genere** of network, not just a different format), would have to be intelligent.

At this point you may as well look at an intelligent programmable unit which has both CAN and MODBUS interfaces. A PC springs to mind!

The CAN bus module is going to be sold for the TSX57 Premium from Schneider. It will then be possible to use this plc as bridge between the two bus.

 

I am very interesting by this gateway, could you please send me some information
