Hi, We are working on a project where CCD (Charge Coupled Device) cameras would be used. We are looking for a forum-list for design and application on CCD. I would appreciate some hints! Best Regards! Carlos/dykrom

You might have some luck starting at http://www.photonics.com/. If you're into that area, you could get a free advertising filled subscription to Photonics Spectra magazine, which has a section dedicated to reader questions answered by readers (kind of a print version of a discussion group). I've seen question on everything from optical adhesives to detecting knots in plywood. However, I don't know if they distribute for free outside of North America. Anthony Kerstens P.Eng.

National Instruments have this kind of applications, so most likely they will have a forum like the one you are looking for. Their website www.ni.com. If not, you can check several application notes at their website, you can even ask for them to send you a free CD named DAQ DESIGNER, where you will find those applications in pdf. The interesting part of it is that in every documented application, you will find the name of the person who did it, along with his/her phone, e-mail, address, and so on. So you can basically contact the final user and ask for advice. Whether the advice is free or not is another subject. But most of the people who do this applications enjoying talking about them and explaining the kind of troubles they had to surpass to succeed. In Brazil there is a local distributor of NI which will send you this information quickly and with no cost. Good hunting, Jimmy Saldivias TECSIM Phone: 591-4-523438 Fax: 591-4-523413 http://tecsim.trading.net
