changing the setpoint of a PID-controller

For this proces I want to change the setpoint of the PID-controller outside the PLC/controller with a potentiometer, joystick, remote control... The value of the setpoint must be variable and isn't set while programming the device.

Does someone know which device I can use or for instance the Millenium 2-series by Crouzet this quality own?

You can convert resistance of potentiometer using pot transmeter to 1 - 5 VDC or 4 - 20 MA, and connect to 1 - 5 VDC input or 4 - 20 MA input PLC channels and reprogramm it. Very easy to do.
