We are designing a project in which we are in search for a suitable programmable controller. The following field devices need to be interfaced and controlled through controller:
1.200 nos. stepper motors and 3 nos. servo motors 2.200 nos. Photoelectric sensors- diffuse type.
3. 20 nos. extra digital inputs and 20 nos. extra digital outputs.
4.Interfacing with an inkjet printer to provide the print data and
commands.
5.Interfacing with Industrial Camera to store and transfer the image
to remote server for image verification.
Can the above tasks be performed using an Arduino or Raspberry Controller? Or shall we need to choose any industrial grade standard
PLC?
