I have found many marine gensets with the required specifications (semi rapid genset with power output of 1800kva and 60HZ). The only thing is having to choose between a genset with a semi rapid engine (900-1000 rpm) and a genset with an engine speed from 720-750 rpm. which one is considered better? And does the number of cylinders of the engine have any effect on the choice?
